Ah, the Tridge. It’s such an iconic place for us Midland folk. My family and I take walks there often in the summer, and anytime we have someone visit us from out of town, that is the number one spot we take them to. In fact, many people go to the Tridge. I love that it’s always full of people who are walking or biking or skateboarding. When this senior said she wanted to take pictures here, I was excited! Though I’ve done senior sessions in downtown Midland, I have never done one on the Tridge itself. I was also a little apprehensive because of how busy I know it can be. Cloning people out in Photoshop can be a daunting task.
We met in the Farmer’s Market parking lot, and it was COMPLETELY PACKED. I don’t know what they had going on there, but every high school student seemed to be there for some sort of career fair. I didn’t think we could pull off pictures on the Tridge, but I was certainly going to try anyway.
Saige and I met last year when I took her friend’s senior pictures. I also got Saige to be my model for a special photo shoot involving a gorgeous dress. I am so excited that I was able to take her senior pictures this year! She and her mother are amazing, and I love being around them. Of course, Grace, Ella and Violet came too, and they are the best.
We started by walking all around downtown Midland for her senior session. Check these out!
I love that she wore layers and jewelry for her first outfit! That’s always a good choice. We made our way to the Tridge, and the crowds had dissipated some, so we attempted pictures there with her second outfit. Although we did have to wait for people to pass in order to get a few shots, I love the ones we came away with! Also, how cute is that shirt??
I just adore this next shot of Saige.
Next week I’ll be sharing where we went next! It was a new-to-me location that I can’t wait to show you.
[…] week, I blogged about the first half of Saige’s senior photo session. We had such a fun time with her mom and friends. And although it was busy near the Tridge when we […]
