Volleyball was never a sport I was talented in playing, but I admire people so much who love it and are great at it. Olivia is one of those people. For the first part of her session, we went to Dow Gardens. For this part, she chose the Chippewa Nature Center. I love this place! The light there is always perfectly positioned for evening portraits. Although I’ve taken many senior pictures there, I never get sick of it!
I always love it when my seniors want to bring sports stuff to their session. When Olivia told me she wanted to wear her volleyball jersey and bring her volleyball with her, I was so excited!
Volleyball Shots
As I said before, that light is completely magical here!
Olivia asked to have some pictures of her setting the volleyball up, so we got lots of them!
This next pose was her idea. I seriously love it so much.
As the sun sank low, we headed over to the River Trail around Wood Duck Pond. Olivia really wanted some flowers in her photo session. Thankfully, we were able to find a few spots with flowers for her pictures. Isn’t she beautiful? Also, overalls are my favorite.
Here’s what Olivia’s mom said about the session: “Eve is great at capturing beautiful light in her pictures. She’s a pleasure to work with. She’s good at listening and delivering what you want in your photo shoot. She did a wonderful job creating beautiful senior pictures of my daughter.”
And this is what Olivia had to say: “I love Eve!! I wanted many different things in my senior photos and she was able to incorporate everything. I love the way she uses the sunlight in photos and how her photos are bright, colorful, and crisp. She is an amazing photographer. I felt comfortable the whole session and had a really great time. I love all the pictures I got from my senior session and totally recommend Eve.”
Thank you both for a lovely time! Best of luck for finishing up your senior year, Olivia!
