Twins, I’ve found out, are really fun to photograph together. In fact, this is the first twins session I have ever done! Lawrence and Stanton had their senior session together, and it was a blast.
Before we go into this session, I’d like to say how amazing these two are. Here I go: They are amazing. Fun, confident, sweet, polite, easy-going, really great guys. I know them and their family from church, and the whole family is incredible.
We took pictures starting in Downtown Midland, and I just love that they wanted to wear these suits. For my guy clients: Suits make a really excellent outfit choice for one of you options. Don’t be afraid to dress up and clean up a bit for your session. It looks so classy and smart when you do, as modeled here below.
Twins
The biggest challenge for me when photographing the twins together was making sure I didn’t do the exact same pose in the exact same location for each guy. I think I did a pretty good job of giving them both variety. Because identical twins really do need their own identity apart from each other, at least sometimes.
Keep on scrolling down to the shots of them in the alley. This spot has become a favorite of mine over the years. I just love the perspective and texture of this location. The shot of them back-to-back is in my top three of the whole session.
Our next stop – the Nature Center. If I could convince every senior to have a session here, at least for one of their locations, I would. Check out the sunburst shots at the end with their friend! Ah, the light there is so magical. And they were great sports when I asked them if they would jump in their suits for me.
This is what Stanton said of their session: “I could not have asked for a better person than Eve to take my senior pictures, and I’m so happy with how my pictures turned out!” Thank you both for a great time! And best of luck as you go to the South Pacific and serve your two-year missions. You’re going to be amazing.
