Stratford Woods is literally about six minutes away from my house. Although I had heard about it before and had seen it from the freeway, I had never gone there until the day before this high school senior’s photo shoot. Whaa?? I took my kids there during the day the week before school started to check things out for my shoot. We loved it! We’ve lived here in Midland for five years. Five years! And we had never made it to Stratford Woods. Since we had such a good time, we actually made it back two more times during the following week. I think we’ll be visiting there a lot next year.
Last week, I blogged about the first half of Saige’s senior photo session. We had such a fun time with her mom and friends. And although it was busy near the Tridge when we arrived, the crowds seemed to clear afterwards. For her second location, we came here. We got there in time for some sun, and would you look at that back light!
We also got one of my favorite shots ever… Look at those gorgeous eyes.
After the sun dipped behind the trees, we focused more on the beach. Saige was brave enough to get into the water a bit.
And I love the colors that were reflected in the water from the sky. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful senior session.
Reviews
Here’s what Saige had to say about her session:
“I’m absolutely in love with my pictures. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more comfortable setting, and a fun time on top of that. I’m so grateful for the beautiful job that Eve did and I really hope to work with her again!”
Her mom said:
“My daughter’s senior pictures experience with Eve far exceeded our expectations. Eve’s professional approach to photography was delightfully personable, which helped the outcome of some GORGEOUS pictures. She is so creative and artistic, she captured Saige so beautifully. We are so grateful to Eve and could not have asked for a better outcome. We were blessed with the opportunity to work with Eve and gain a beautiful friend.”
Thanks for the kind words, you two! I am SO glad I’ve had the opportunity to work with you this year. Good luck with your senior year!
