Can you believe that I’ve only photographed one senior guy this whole year? There’s something about girls wanting their senior pictures more than guys. What do you think it is? I love taking pictures of guys because they are so easy to pose, and they always just know how to go with the flow.

Meet Scott. This senior guy is extremely brilliant, witty, smart and kind. He reminds me a little of one of my boys. Scott and his mom wanted his senior pictures taken at Dow Gardens for one of their locations. This place is special to them. His mother has worked and volunteered here for years, and Scott has been able to help out as well. You can see them helping out with the Butterfly Exhibit. I’ve also seen them at the pollination fair. And there was one year when I saw them dressed up as jellyfish for trick-or-treaters going around the gardens. (Speaking of which, Halloween is only a couple weeks away!!! I’m so, super duper excited.)

Scott and Jesica didn’t have a particular spot they wanted pictures taken at, so I took them where I felt was best for him. Man, I love this door!

Seniors! Any time you let your mom jump in the frame with you is a good time! I promise you won’t regret having her in the picture with you. Next week I’ll show you where we went next.
