Downtown Bay City now has my heart. I’ve never taken pictures there before this session, and I honestly hadn’t even thought of doing so. My only other session in Bay City was at the state park, but that location is completely different than this one. Ellyana requested this location specifically, so I went out there a week before to scout out potential locations.
And boy, did this city deliver.
In fact, there were so many good places and alleyways in Downtown Bay City that we were rushing by the end to fit them all in before we made our way back to Midland! Anyone else want to have a session here? 😉
As you can see in these pictures, Ellyana’s smile is one in a million. I can honestly say that her soul is the same.
I love how just looking at these pictures fills my heart with so much joy!
Ellyana also brought her saxophone to her senior session, and it was fun getting it in the pictures next to the theatre.
This next set are my personal favorites from Downtown Bay City. Ellyana is wearing her late father’s tie in them. This sentimental piece adds so much meaning into these, and I am so glad she brought it with her.
Did I mention how windy it was on this day? Never fear a windy day. That movement is incredible in pictures when you learn to work with it.
The alleyways and vines and brick walls just keep getting better!
And I have all the heart eyes for this specific location. I really think Ellyana’s white shirt really stood out well in front of this wall.
Next time, I’ll share with you the second part of Ellyana’s session which took place at the Chippewa Nature Center. See you then!
