Artsy is just the word I’d use to describe this talented and amazing teenager. Her whole session had an artsy vibe going on from her outfit choices and accessories to her locations to the paint and art supplies and smoke bombs at the end. Yes, we did use paint and smoke bombs, and it was awesome.
Julianna is an incredible teenager, and I am happy to call her my friend. I like to think all my seniors and their moms become my friend by the end of the senior photography process. But Julianna and I have known each other for years, and I just love her to pieces.
Julianna killed her session. I’ve never posed anyone who was so comfortable being in front of the camera. She fell into each pose with ease, and she made my job incredibly easy.
Bay City is the first place she wanted for her session. And boy, was I feeling an artsy vibe with her here. I LOVE Downtown Bay City. Seriously, I don’t think I could ever get bored of shooting senior sessions in this location. And this purple wall? It’s the best.
Artsy
We took our time and discovered more than just a few amazing shooting locations, and then we headed to her second choice – her family’s personal property in Sanford, Michigan. You guys. This location has THE BEST light. It’s a photographer’s dream come true. And the light gets filtered so well with all the trees on the property. I was in heaven.
And take a look at what is going on with the paint! Julianna’s mom did an outstanding job on the face paint, am I right? Julianna is so artsy, therefore wanted to incorporate that into her senior session. I found a few fun ideas online, and we just took off running. I love using the paint brushes!
Also, I’ve never used smoke bombs before, but I really wanted to give it a go. Can we just say it was awesome??
This session may possibly be my favorite of the whole year. It was that epic.
Here’s what Julianna had to say about her experience: “Eve is so talented, kind, and fun to work with. I’m so glad she was able to take my senior pictures! We had a wonderful experience and I absolutely love all of the photos!!”
Thanks, Julianna! You’re the best.
